This is an ideal venue for members wishing to attend the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and the venue is situated opposite the Lansdown, Bath, Park & Ride.
We have exclusive use of the superb club house as well as free use of toilets and showers. There are picnic tables outside and we are close to Beckford’s Tower, which is an architectural folly and is Grade 1 listed.
Built between 1826 and 1827 Beckford’s Tower is an extraordinary building that was once home to one of the greatest collections of books, furniture and art in Georgian England.
The building is currently closed . his building is worth lots of Kodak moments.
Bath, a beautiful Georgian city, is well known with lots of interesting history with parks and many fabulous buildings including The Roman Baths and Thermae Spa which are recommended, plus, of course, lots of retail therapy.

Walcot Rugby club is located on Lansdown Hill, about 3 miles northeast of Bath, Somerset, England on Lansdown road,
From M4 Junction 18 at Tormarton interchange, take the A46 to Bath and follow the signs for Bath Race course, drive pass the race course and Lansdown Park and Ride and look for MCC signs. Walcot Rugby club is on the left.
From A39 & A4 Bristol rd, continue on A4 and then Upper Bristol rd, turn left onto park lane, then at roundabout take 2nd exit onto Weston rd, turn left onto Cavandish rd continue to junction with Lansdown rd and turn right, Continue along Lansdown rd and just before the Park and Ride look MCC signs, just before the Park and Ride. Walcot Rugby club is on the Right.
