BOOKING RALLIES
We are pleased that Avon Rallies will be non-bookable in the future, unless otherwise stated in the rally details.
PAYMENTS AT RALLIES WILL BE BY CASH.
RALLY FEE
This has been set at £1 per unit, per rally (previously £1 pu per night)
All these changes will of course be kept under review at each Committee Meeting during the year and amended if necessary.
MCC Rules regarding pets, and smoking apply at all rallies.
ONSITE FACILITIES
All rally sites will have as a minimum, toilet emptying facilities and drinking water. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the provision of a hose pipe. If you need one, please come prepared. Thank you
RALLY PROGRAMME
The 2024 Rally Programme has now been published. Please keep an eye open for any updates and possibly a rally or two more, to fill the gaps. If you are able to host a rally, please contact any committee member. We are a small committee and look forward to your support. Thank you

Incident of verbal abuse at castle combe June 2024
An incident occurred when a Host was verbally abused at a rally at Castle Combe. This is totally unacceptable behaviour and will not be tolerated. Should anything of this nature occur in the future, the abuser(s) will be directed to leave the rally field immediately.

HELP PLEASE - Avon Group Request for Hosts - HELP PLEASE
We have worked hard building a rally programme for 2024 from scratch and then hosting most of them. Most of us creak and groan on a daily basis and whilst we are very grateful to those members who have hosted rallies this year, we need more volunteers please.
We understand that whilst some of us like the 5 x day rallies, this can cause some problems for hosts. In that case, volunteers who would co-host would be incredibly helpful.
The Balloon Fiesta (7 to 12 August) for example only has 3 Committee Members available to run it this year. Can you spare a few hours to help out?
Following that, we are currently without hosts for - Rainbow Wood Farm (22 to 27 August, with a hall on the Saturday evening), and - Sharpness Dock Workers Club (29 August to 2 September) where we hold the Skittles Competition. Up to two rally hosts are entitled to a free rally, the work is not too onerous, and help is always available.
