Brenda and Terry Evans retire from Avon Group Committee activities and MCC

Brenda Evans has handed her resignation into to Jane due to ill health. Both Brenda and Terry will now be retiring from Avon group committee activities and the MCC. Below is an extract from the e-mail Brenda sent to your Chairman, Jane:

"Thank you so much for coming to see me following my surgery.  The card signed by everyone on the committee and flowers were much appreciated.  I am slowly getting better from the surgery and now know what I need to be hopefully cured of thyroid cancer.   I hereby offer my resignation from the committee of Avon Group Motor Caravanners' Club due to ill health and now having sold the van on the strength of the health verdict. I thank all other members of the committee, and club for their companionship and friendship during my time on the committee and hope the club can go on with renewed gusto in the future.

Terry and I have been club members for many years and have lots of very nice memories of weekends and holidays with the club for which we thank you.  Our membership is due to run out in August and we are unlikely to renew it.

So thanks very much for everything.
Best wishes to you all
Brenda"

Our Best wishes to both Terry and Brenda for the future.

Subject: Thank you from Wiltshire Air Ambulance

Dear Mrs Archer

On behalf of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust, thank you for your wonderful donation of £50.00 raised from your Flower Auction at your AGM. Your official receipt number is R000029299.

We are extremely grateful to the members of the Avon Group Motor Caravanners’ Club for their support and generosity.  As we are almost entirely dependent on public support, your donation goes a long way to enable us to continue to run our vital life-saving air ambulance service, and raise the £3.25 million needed every year to keep flying.

If you would like any further information about our Charity, please do call our office or send an email to hello@wiltshireairambulance.co.uk.

Sending you all our very best wishes rom the Charity Team and Crew at Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Yours sincerely

We were pleasantly surprised to receive another £55 from a collection at the Winchester Rally. Many thanks to the hosts Richard and Caroline, and Dennis and Caroline for nominating this charity at their rally and the generosity of the members who donated. We have forwarded the £55 on to our daughter Holly who has sent it to the charity and thanks the members in the remembrance of Jasmine.

Kind Regards,
